“Often times, we attribute our self worth and image with the external validation we get from other people. For example, if everyone always complimented your hair, you would consider yourself to have good hair, even though you wouldn’t have if no one said anything. I feel like this approach to life could be unhealthy as it makes our happiness over reliant on other people. So I decided to make a film to explore this inner conflict. This story is about an extremely insecure man trying to find self-acceptance and love in other people, but after the multiple rejections he faces, he gets pushed to the brink of insanity.“
